Early access
moviefactory.ai is in early access. Features can change, be limited or be withdrawn while we build it, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may invite, limit or end access to the studio at our discretion during early access. Joining the waitlist registers your interest and does not guarantee an invitation.
Your providers, your costs
Generation runs through AI providers and tools you connect with your own accounts and credentials, or through your own ComfyUI hardware. Their terms, prices and usage policies apply to those requests, and any charges are between you and the provider. We do not resell provider access and do not control their availability, quality or pricing. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for requests made with them.
Your content
You keep every right you have in the screenplays, images, video, audio and other material you bring to the studio, and in the results you make with it, subject to the terms of the providers that generated them. We claim no ownership of your projects and take no licence to them beyond what is needed to pass your requests to the provider you chose.
You are responsible for having the rights you need in what you upload, for reviewing generated results before you use them, and for how you publish them. Because projects are stored in your browser, keeping backups is up to you; we cannot recover a project that was never exported.
Acceptable use
Use the service for making films and the work around them. In particular:
- Do not create or distribute content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that depicts a real person in a sexual, deceptive or defamatory way without their consent.
- Do not use the service to harass, exploit or endanger anyone, or to produce material that sexualises minors.
- Do not present generated material as an authentic recording where that would deceive or harm.
- Do not probe, overload or interfere with the website, the API or other people’s use of them, and do not try to bypass access or rate limits.
- Follow the usage policies of every provider you connect.
The service is provided as is
During early access we provide the website, the studio and the API as they are, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI results can be wrong, biased or unusable; review them before relying on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adastra Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost data or lost profits, or for provider charges, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending access
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. You can stop using the service at any time; your projects stay in your browser until you delete them, and you can ask us to remove your waitlist entry.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the service and ask us to remove your waitlist entry. Questions go to support@adastrastudios.com.
